Architectural Record and The Architect’s Newspaper Feature recently completed 1 De Haro project
It’s exciting when our projects get some ink! Over the past couple weeks, our San Francisco Design District project for SKS Partners, 1 De Haro, was featured in articles in Architectural Record and The Architect’s Newspaper. What makes 1 De Haro so special is that it can hold the title of California’s first multi-story mass timber building. The 134,000 SF structure uses cross-laminated timber (CLT), a design and construction element that will leave the future tenant to celebrate the beauty of the wood and detailed craftsmanship.
Joining us and SKS Partners to form the core project team were architect Perkins&Will, DCI Engineers, and Montreal-based mass timber supplier Nordic Structures.
Enjoy reading more about this fascinating project. We’re sure you will start to see more mass timber structures emerge in your city’s skyline.
