In 2006 Hathaway Dinwiddie transitioned company-wide to a model-based estimating workflow to improve transparency and substantially enhance the accuracy of our estimates. Deployed as standard practice during the estimating process, from partial floor tenant improvement projects to large-scale multi-building campus developments, our in-house estimators create Revit models to derive the quantities upon which they build their estimates, provide visual backup to project stakeholders, and serve as a permanent asset over the course of the project’s lifespan in estimation.

Quality is about the dedication of individual team members, who take the time to assure that every detail is reviewed. Beginning in the preconstruction phase, our experienced team performs constructability reviews and uses BIM tools to analyze all systems and details. This ensures that final fit and finish exceeds architect and owner expectations. We study options for materials, details, phasing and sequencing to maximize overall value. To monitor and improve the finished product, we employ rigorous quality at the source measures. In short, our team leaves no detail unchecked to ensure the best possible results.
